Wade Williams

Safety Director

Wade Williams has been a proud member of team Nu-Way for over 13 years. In those years, Wade has been involved with everything from hours of service compliance, accident investigations to driver recruiting and new driver orientations. Recently, Wade has transitioned into his new role as Safety Director.

Wade grew up with diesel in his veins, his father was an over the road driver and Wade was hooked.  Some of Wade’s earliest and fondest memories are seeing his father return home in his “big rig”.   When Wade was 21 he officially joined the industry and started truck driving school.  Over the next decade, Wade enjoyed driving for several companies and has never been afraid of a challenging situation, whether it came to getting the load on time, teaching safe practices, or being proactive in this ever changing industry.  Fortunately, Wade brought these experiences with him when he joined Nu-Way.

Wade appreciates the team at Nu-Way because they are genuine and are always pursuing avenues to make the driving experience better.  His philosophy in life is to make sure he never diverts from being in the people business -- personal or professional.  Stick to the golden rule in every aspect of life, treat everyone the way you want to be treated.  Wade practices this daily at Nu-Way.

Wade is happily married to his wife Leah of 16 years and they have 4 children, Jamie (17), Cara (13), Grace (11) and Corban (9). They enjoy a busy life speaking with many people they meet while working their door to door ministry. When time allows they take an occasional camping trip, long road trips (this year to Niagara Falls) and the weekend getaways to the St Louis Zoo, and Chicago Museums.

Thank you Wade for all that you do at Nu-Way and for keeping us and the motoring public safe!
